Winter Fishing Escapes

The Top End winter or Dry Season as we call it offers a great opportunity to escape the cold of winter and experience a real taste of what Top End fishing is all about.

With clear blue skys, cool breezes and day time temperatures around 30 degrees and nightimes sometimes getting down to a chilli 14 this is a great time in the Top End.

During the Dry Season months the Bluewater fishing fires up. Whilst there is as always the opportunity to tangle with a Barramundi or two and get into some sensational reef fishing at this time of the year you also have pelagics on the scene.

Chasing Barra in the rivers and Estuaries to hard fighting reef fish and some mind blowing pelagic fishing, this charter will give you a real taste of fishing Northern Territory style.

Charter Options:-

Short Break - 5 or 6 days

On this 5 or 6 day adventure you will fish the western coast of the Northern Territory. This area is sparsely inhabited with very limited access to the coast, ensuring great fishing.

You will fish the estuaries for Barramundi and Threadfin Salmon and will also do some bait fishing on the reefs for Black Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Coral Trout & Red Emperor to name just a few, Pelagics such as Tuna & Mackerel are also on offer.

Extended Adventure 7 or 8 days

Similar to the Short Break trip above you will hed west of Darwin fishign this sparsely inhabited area. With more time to play with you will head further afield and fish teh estauries of the Moyle & little Moyle Rivers.

You will fish the estuaries for Barramundi and Threadfin Salmon and will also do some bait fishing on
the reefs for Black Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Coral Trout & Red Emperor to name just a few.

This area also offers sensational pelagics fishing for Mackerel & Long Tail Tuna.
